Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes what data TaskStars (the "Service", "we") collects when you use the taskstars.ru website, the app.taskstars.ru web app, and TaskStars mobile apps for iOS and Android, how we use this data, and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The data controller is the developer of TaskStars. You can reach us at lehabaev@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
2.1. Parent account
- email address (used as the login);
- password (stored as a cryptographic hash);
- preferred interface language;
- mobile push notification tokens (if the app is installed);
- subscription status and related purchase identifiers.
2.2. Child profile
A child profile is created by the parent. It stores:
- child's name or nickname (the parent decides what to enter);
- 4-digit PIN (stored as a hash);
- preferred interface language;
- game data: tasks, completed assignments, coin balance, transaction history, achievement progress, reward shop purchases.
We do not ask the child for their last name, date of birth, address, phone number, or any other contact details.
2.3. Technical data
- IP address, device type, operating system version, app version, session identifier — for security and diagnostics;
- error logs and stack traces — for debugging.
2.4. Website analytics
The taskstars.ru website and the web version of the app use Yandex.Metrica to collect anonymous usage statistics. The TaskStars mobile apps do not use Yandex.Metrica or similar analytics SDKs.
3. How we use the data
- to operate the parent account and child profiles;
- to store and synchronize game data across devices;
- to send push notifications and system emails (e.g. password recovery);
- to process subscriptions and payments;
- to diagnose errors and keep the Service secure;
- to gather anonymous analytics to improve the product.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell user data. To operate the Service we use the following processors:
- Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription billing and app delivery;
- RevenueCat — broker for managing subscription status;
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications to mobile devices;
- Sentry — error log collection;
- Yandex.Metrica — anonymous web analytics (website and web app only).
Each processor receives only the minimum data needed under its terms of service.
5. Where and how long we store data
Data is stored on the servers TaskStars uses to operate the Service. Account data is retained until the account is deleted. Once the account is deleted, related data is removed from our systems immediately. Data previously shared with our processors (see section 4) is removed in accordance with their retention policies.
6. Children as users
The app is intended to be used by children under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Only an adult can create an account. A child cannot self-register, change the email, manage the subscription, or make payments. The parent decides what data about the child to enter into the profile.
7. Your rights
At any time you can:
- request access to the data we store about your account;
- correct inaccurate data via account settings or by emailing us;
- delete the account and all related child profiles directly in the app: Settings → Delete account;
- withdraw consent to data processing and push notifications.
8. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data: TLS-encrypted connections, hashed storage of passwords and PINs, restricted access to infrastructure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access, but we make reasonable efforts to ensure it.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always available at taskstars.ru/en/privacy.html. For material changes we will additionally notify users by email or in the app.
